Trapdoor Theatre Academy is teaches Singing, dancing and acting in Spalding and surrounding areas. We have over 10 years teaching experience from children as young as 3 through to adults at all levels from the absolute beginner through to more advanced levels. Whilst the vast majority of our pupils attend classes as a fun hobby and benefit from the various life skills that regular dance, drama, singing classes can impart, some of our students hope to progress to a professional level and attend classes training them for auditions etc.

Trapdoor’s objective is to introduce performing arts as a fun and enjoyable experience, whilst maintaining its traditional discipline. We want our students to build self confidence and a sense of achievement as they progress through the various grades and stages that our classes have to offer. All our classes at the academy develop team work, listening skills, confidence and freedom of expression.
